IBANEZ EHB1005SMS-MGM ELECTRIC BASS GUITAR
The EHB1005SMS is a five string, short scale, multi-scale EHB series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 2020. It is produced in Indonesia as part of the Ibanez Bass Workshop line. The new EHB design features a chambered body double cutaway body shape with a prominent upper horn and a deep lower scoop. The chambered body has an ergonomic design with a slanted back to enable the player to maintain a similar playing position whether seated or standing. The EHB1005SMS features a multi-scale headless design with a chambered American basswood body bolted to a graphite reinforced roasted maple and walnut neck with a roasted birdseye maple fingerboard with 24 stainless steel fanned frets, offset abalone dot position markers and luminescent side dots. Components include individual Monorail V HS bridges with adjustable string spacing, a pair of Bartolini BH2 passive pickups, a detachable finger ramp, a Vari-mid 3-band EQ with EQ bypass switch, a locking Neutrik output jack and Schaller S-Lock strap pins. The EHB1005MS is a standard scale version.
