The TAMA HC84BW Roadpro Boom Cymbal Stand is a heavy-duty cymbal stand designed for professional drummers who require exceptional stability and flexibility in their hardware setup. As part of TAMA’s Roadpro Series, it features robust construction and advanced hardware technology, making it suitable for live performances, studio sessions, and demanding touring conditions. Its double-braced tripod legs and strong base tubing ensure excellent balance and support for even large ride or crash cymbals.
The stand includes TAMA’s patented Quick-Set Tilter, a gearless mechanism that allows smooth and precise cymbal angle adjustments using friction-based metal discs rather than traditional gears. It also features the Quick-Set Cymbal Mate, enabling fast cymbal installation or removal with a simple push-button system. The boom/straight convertible design allows the boom arm to be stored inside the stand tube when needed, transforming it into a straight cymbal stand for tighter stage setups.
For enhanced stability, the HC84BW comes with a detachable counterweight on the boom arm, which helps balance heavier cymbals and prevents the stand from tipping when the boom is extended. With a boom arm length of about 688 mm (27") and a wide height adjustment range of approximately 820 mm to 2,200 mm (32.2"–86.6"), the stand provides flexible cymbal positioning for any drum kit configuration.
