The TAMA HPDS1TW Dyna-Sync Twin Pedal is a high-performance direct-drive double bass drum pedal engineered for extreme precision, speed, and responsiveness. Designed as part of TAMA’s flagship Dyna-Sync series, this pedal uses a direct-drive linkage that connects the footboard directly to the cam, delivering immediate power transfer and highly accurate pedal response. At the heart of the HPDS1TW is TAMA’s Dyna-Sync Direct Drive system, which eliminates the lag commonly found in chain-driven pedals. The adjustable Sync-Coil spring helps the footboard return quickly to its starting position, improving speed and rebound during rapid double-kick passages. The pedal also features a slidable cam position adjustment, allowing drummers to fine-tune the balance between power and speed depending on their playing style.
